AI-Use Acknowledgment
What CPA Practice Hub does — and does not do — with AI.
Draft — pending attorney review. This acknowledgment summarizes the product's current commitments.
Where things stand today
- AI features are off. No firm or client data is sent to any AI or large-language-model provider.
- They stay off until there is a signed data agreement with the model provider and your firm chooses to turn them on.
If AI features are offered later
- Every AI-generated suggestion will be clearly labeled as AI-generated.
- AI output is a draft, never a final work product. A licensed CPA at your firm reviews, edits, and approves anything client-facing.
- The service will never file a return, send anything to your clients, or post on its own — with or without AI.
- [Counsel: data use limits, retention by the model provider (zero-retention terms), and the firm's opt-in mechanics.]
Security, regardless of AI
- Two-factor sign-in is required for every user in your workspace (FTC Safeguards Rule), and each firm's data is isolated at the database level.
Your acknowledgment
By accepting, the firm owner acknowledges the above and agrees that the firm remains responsible for its professional work and for its obligations to its clients.
